BRICS - The New World Power
BRICS, an acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is emerging as a powerful economic bloc with the potential to reshape global geopolitics. Representing over 40% of the world's population and approximately 25% of global GDP, BRICS challenges traditional Western-dominated institutions like the IMF and World Bank. These nations are focusing on fostering economic cooperation, enhancing trade among member states, and developing a new financial architecture, including the BRICS New Development Bank. As global power shifts toward the East and South, BRICS is seen as a counterbalance to U.S. and European influence, potentially creating a multipolar world order.
